Commonly asked questions when booking a House clearance explained:

How do I book a House clearance assessment?

All assessments are provided free of charge and are completed either in person or via pictures or video. Call our office on 01480 464140 or email enquiries@hyperionauctions.co.uk

I’m clearing a property for a deceased relative and do not live near the property can you help?

We deal regularly with deceased estates or those where your relative has moved into residential care. We do not need anyone to be present either at the assessment or throughout the clearance, we simply require access to the property through either a solicitor, neighbour, or estate agent. Our aim is to make the process as simple as possible for yourself.

How much notice do you need?

We can often respond within 24 hours of instruction with our dedicated House clearance Team. We are flexible and can arrange a time which is suitable to your requirements.

Should I just dispose of the rubbish and leave the antiques for you to look at?

Our advice is NO! So many times, that people have cleared the rubbish and would like us to look at the valuable items, upon arrival the value has been disposed of and the items that should have been skipped are left in the property. We always advise to contact us in the first instance and then we can provide a FREE VALUATION on the contents of the property before you make any decisions.

What will happen to the items for sale?

Items of a saleable items will be placed into our Antiques and Interiors sale and marketed on the worlds leading online sales platforms www.the-saleroom.com and www.easyliveauctions.com. After the items are sold you will be provided with a full breakdown of the items and be sent via Bank transfer to your nominated bank.

What will happen to the items for disposal?

All items of a non-saleable value will be disposed of through our recycling partners and around 90% of these products will be recycled either through the waste recycling process or donated to relevant charities so a very green disposal service. We as a matter of course hold current waste carriers licence and pass onto licenced waste carriers. You can read more by reading the Hyperion Auctions Plastic Policy.
