April 2020 Latest News from Hyperion Auctions & House Clearance Cambridge

On the Back of Our last Fine Art Sale which saw some record prices and sales to worldwide collectors, we are now behind the scenes getting ready for Our Next Fine Art & Antiques Sale on Saturday 20th June. With a large collection of interesting Georgian and Later Silver being our main focus for the sale.

One of our more interesting lots for the Sale is an Arts & Crafts 2 Handled Silver Gilt Rose Bowl of planished detail by Renowned  Silversmith Sebastian Garrard who was Jeweller to the Crown and the first director to hold this position in the Garrard Firm with a low estimate of £250-300. This is only part of over 80 Lots of Silver to be offered.

Another Section of the Sale will have a Strong Militaria section to include WWI War & Victory Medals together with Special Constabulary Service Medal awarded to Private R. VICKERY of the Royal Fusiliers together with his brother William's Special Constabulary Service Medal (1919) and a photograph of the two brothers estimate £100 - 150 , also a good collection of WW1 & 2 Medal groups, Diaries, Bayonets and clothing.

These are only 2 sections of our extensive sale which usually sees a good collection of 18th Century and Later ceramics, Jewellery, Fine Art & Furniture.

Although we are closed to the public at the moment we are very much arranging items for inclusion into either our forthcoming Fine Art Sale and our Antiques and Later Sales,
